we went on a road trip last june and i just downloaded the pictures from it. we took two weeks and drove from california to mississippi. let me tell you, two weeks just wasn't long enough!
1 + 2. pie town, new mexico. we had to stop and buy a pie. we called about 20 minutes before we got there and they said they were closing but that we could still stop by and grab a pie anyway.
3. the grand canyon. we only went to one dinky side of it... that place is enormous.
4 + 5. what we did while camping.
6 + 7. the hoover dam! my stomach dropped the minute i stepped foot on that bridge.
8 + 9. driving through death valley. an amazing and eerie place, probably my favorite place from the trip.
10 + 11. mammoth lakes. my grandparents were camp host there for the summer. i wanted to sleep in their rv because of the bear that kept coming around, but my papa said i would be fine in the tent... meaning 3's a crowd. it was so windy that night we woke up with an odd amount of sand in our tent.
